Hello,
My name is Alex Strauss, and I'm running to represent our class because I believe we deserve a leader who shows up, works hard, and never settles for less than the best.
As an AP student, I know the pressure we all deal with. The late nights, the packed schedules, the constant push to do more. As a hockey player, I know what it takes to be part of a team, and that we win or lose together. And as a band member and community advocate, I've learned that the best things happen when everyone's voice actually matters.
I'm running because I want to make Millburn the best it can be. I want a senior year we look back on with pride, not just as the year we graduated, but as the year our class came together and made something we'll never forget.
If elected, I promise to actually listen. I'll take your concerns seriously and follow through on them. I won't make promises I can't keep, and I won't disappear after the votes are counted. I'll be there, and I'll be accountable to you.
I'll fight to make senior prom the best one our class has ever had. I've heard the complaints about this year, and I won't ignore them. I'll learn from them and make next year's prom something special.
And for Battle of the Classes, we're going to win. But I also want to push for real changes that make it more fun for everyone, not just the people competing.
I want greatness for our class, but I can't do it without you. I need your trust, your support, and your vote.

A Change to morning anoncements
We all know how the one daily thing in morning announcements, whether it's a song, a joke, or a fun fact, gets old fast when it's the same idea every single day before school. If elected, we'll let you vote on what happens during announcements, so every week is different and it never gets boring. Your voice decides how we start the day.
An Open Line of Communication
If elected, we'll keep an email account checked all year long, so you can reach out anytime with any question or concern. Whether it's big or small, we promise to read it and do our best to help. No idea will go ignored.
A Better BOTC and Prom
We know Battle of the Classes and prom mean a lot, so we'll actually listen to what you want. If elected, we'll send out feedback forms so we know exactly what to fix and what to keep. That way, every decision reflects what our class really cares about.
